What is one-on-one grooming?
One on one grooming means your dog receives my full attention  from start to finish. No cages, no waiting, no rotating between multiple pets. Just a calm, private experience tailored to your dog.

Where are you located?
I groom out of my private home studio in Lakeland, Florida. The exact address is provided after booking for safety and privacy.

How long does a grooming appointment take?
Most appointments take 1.5-2.5 hours depending on your dog’s size, coat type, and the services needed. Because I work one-on-one your dog is never rushed.

Do you require vaccinations?
Yes – for everyone’s safety, dogs must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination. Proof may be requested.

How often should my dog be groomed?
Most dogs do best on a 4-8 week schedule to maintain coat health and prevent matting. It also allows them to adjust to the grooming process on a regular basis.

What if my dog is matted?
If your dog has matting, I’ll assess the coat and discuss the safest options. Severe matting may require a short clip for your dog’s comfort.

Can I stay with my dog during the appointment?
For safety and focus, owners do not stay during grooming. Most dogs relax more quickly once their person leaves.

Do you groom anxious or senior dogs?
Yes – my quiet, private setup is ideal for nervous or older dogs. I take my time and adjust the process to keep them comfortable.

Why do you have a kennel in your studio if it’s one-on-one grooming?
We know that not all dogs love being groomed, and for some dogs, a kennel provides a sense of security and familiarity. It’s like their own little den where they can feel safe and relaxed. We never force a dog into a kennel, but it’s available if they need it.

How do I book an appointment?
The easiest and fastest way to book an appointment is by sending me a text message. Because I’m a solo, one-on-one groomer, I’m often hands-on with dogs and unable to answer phone calls during the day. Texting allows me to respond as soon as I’m available, usually much quicker than returning calls. I do my best to return phone calls at the end of the day when I’m no longer grooming.
